Report Organization

This report is organized to reflect the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) defined by management. These KPIs are the specified results to be delivered to the facility. The KPIs are:

  • Cleanliness Quality
  • Satisfaction
  • Organic Load
  • Process Improvement

Cleanliness Quality is derived from data collected on the conditions of items in rooms. Cleanliness quality reports show the results of the data by Item, Room Type, Building and Building Group.

Satisfaction is determined through Survey taken from occupants during a routine inspection. These results are categorized by type of occupant and the resulting rating grouped by room, building and building group.

Organic Load is measured from items touch points and surfaces with an ATP (adenosine triphosphate) meter, which provides an indication of the level of organic matter present. Organic matter is an indication of the potential for growth of bacteria.

Process Improvement measures the improvement of the cleaning program overtime. This measure takes into consideration the trend results over time and the efforts through training, management and task execution to improve cleanliness.

The organization is based on the FABRIC model described earlier. The manager can use the reports to obtain an overall understanding of the performance of the cleaning program and have the ability to dive down into the details.

The sections of each KPI report are then grouped by the Room, Building, and Building Group (if applicable) to isolate defined areas for improvement. If available, trends are also shown for up to 5 periods.

Within each of the Performance-Driven Report sections there are four types of information:

  • Current Period KPI Performance
  • KPI Performance Trends
  • Most Impactful Performance Opportunities
  • A roadmap for Improvement
